INSTRUCTIONS:

This application must be submitted electronically via elpaso.org website link. Any questions regarding the form or the Board should be sent to Monica Saenz at monica@elpaso.org. Applications not completed in this format will not be considered.  Applications must be received by the Chamber no later than Thursday, November 19 2024 at 11:59 PM MST.


Please complete each section. Limit answers to the space available. To be considered for the El Paso Chamber Executive Board of Directors, this application must be submitted along with a current headshot, resume, and bio. The application fee is $50.00 to be considered for selection.


SELECTION CRITERIA:

Participation in the El Paso Chamber Executive Board of Directors is open to individuals with a demonstrated commitment to community engagement and the success of the El Paso Chamber’s Mission and Vision Statement.

The El Paso Chamber Executive Board of Directors requires the following commitments on the part of the participant:

1. Attendance is required at all sessions. This includes in-person meetings.  Any participant missing more than 3 sessions, for any reason, shall be automatically dropped from the board, and no portion of the fee shall be refunded. All sessions will take place on the last Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted). Each session will take place between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM at the El Paso Chamber offices, unless noted otherwise. Punctuality is required. Not every session will last the entirety of those hours, but we require participants reserve those times for Executive Board of Director Meetings. Directors must attend the entire session; leaving early or arriving late will be counted against attendance. The only excused absence is a verified personal illness or family emergency.

2. Attendance at a minimum of one El Paso Chamber event is required in order to maintain active board status. An event overview form will be provided for your feedback.

3. Active participation in membership recruitment is required. The Chamber will provide further guidance on guidelines after board selection.


I am committed to participating as a member of the El Paso Chamber Executive Board of Directors. I understand that my participation includes active engagement and contribution to the mission and vision of the El Paso Chamber, as well as dedication of time for the meetings, dates to be predetermined. If selected to participate, I will devote the time required.
